Service Description

Facial acupuncture is a natural, holistic approach to rejuvenation that works from the inside out. Hair-fine needles are placed on the face and body to improve circulation, stimulate collagen production, and support the organ systems that influence skin health. The result is a brighter, smoother, more lifted complexion—without injections, fillers, or downtime. Over time, facial acupuncture enhances the skin’s resilience, softens fine lines, improves tone and texture, and encourages a healthy, radiant glow. Each treatment begins with a brief intake to understand your skin concerns, overall health, and any underlying patterns that may be contributing to skin changes. A session typically includes: - Body acupuncture to regulate the nervous system, digestion, hormones, and circulation—laying the foundation for healthy skin. - Facial acupuncture with very fine needles placed in areas needing lift, brightness, or softening (such as the forehead, jawline, eye area, or smile lines). - Gentle facial massage or gua sha to improve lymphatic flow and release tension. - Soothing rest time, allowing the needles to work while the body drops into a deeply relaxing parasympathetic state. Most people leave feeling both refreshed in their skin and restored in their whole system. Results vary depending on age, goals, and skin condition, but facial acupuncture works cumulatively—similar to strengthening a muscle over time. A series of 8–12 weekly (or twice weekly) sessions are recommended, followed by monthly maintenance. For more specific concerns like deeper wrinkles, jaw tension, or uneven texture, you may benefit from 10–14 sessions, also followed by maintenance. Most people begin to notice subtle changes—improved brightness, better circulation, reduced tension—within 1–3 treatments. Facial acupuncture can support: - Fine lines and wrinkles - Dull or uneven complexion - Facial tension and jaw clenching - Puffiness and poor lymphatic flow - Circulation issues - Mild to moderate loss of tone or firmness - Stress-related skin changes - Overall skin vitality and glow For the best results, I recommend the following for preparation: - Hydrate well the day before and day of your treatment - Eat a light meal beforehand (avoid coming on an empty stomach) - Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 2–3 hours before - Arrive without heavy makeup if possible
